Game Face

In our home, everything goes back to the world of sports.  We watch sports, we talk about sports, and we play sports!  Right now is football season, so we watch Duke football on Saturdays and Panthers football on Sundays (as well as the end of every other game)!

While McKayla was out sick, Michael told her that he'd give her a dollar if she could learn to spell Coach K's name (Krzyzewski).  When McKayla asks what time it is, she gets something to the effect of "It's game time! Woot!"  Michael is constantly walking around chanting "Let's go Duke!"

All of this being said, it was no surprise to me when McKayla was doing her homework one day, tapped her forehead, and said to herself, "Come on, McKayla. Get on your game face!"
